I started collecting coffee table books a few years ago. Homegoods always has good ones, Anthropologie, Amazon and local boutiques too. I always take off the dust cover to see the color and vibe of the book. I wanted a variety of color so I made sure the spine was something I liked. Look for books that speak to you and your interests. For me it is Photography, art, fashion, Cape Cod, travel books, Plants, skiing, home decor and fun, quirky books. Bottom line, don’t over think it. Go with your first instinct and buy the book. :))
