How our statement bookcase was born
When dreaming up everything we wanted in our home, I knew I wanted a statement bookcase. We found an inspo pic on Pinterest and handed it over to our builder. Kyle, the amazing carpenter, built this bookcase and it is perfection.
We rent our house out for commercials/photoshoots/production and several times the producers chose the house because of the bookcase. It was even featured for an interview scene in a documentary. Needless to say, Kyle understood the assignment.

Kyle, with Herring Design & Development, built this in two pieces, then put them together. A mirror of both sides.
We added lights to the top and he cut out holes for a vent on the bottom. We chose to paint it the color of the exterior of our house (Ben Moore-cumulous cotton)
Ta-Da! Here is the finished look. I LOVE and collect colorful coffee table books. The perfect display case.
