I am so excited to share my debut coffee table book, Coastal Granddaughter, a photographic love letter to Cape Cod and the Islands. This book began with my grandparents, Nana and Pi. Summers at their house were both magical and familiar, a place that felt unchanged no matter how much time had passed. Every return felt like stepping back into a memory.
From running barefoot on the beach with my cousins in the 80’s, to chasing my own two boys along those same shores, the Cape has been a constant thread throughout my life. It has always held a special place in my heart.
Coastal Granddaughter is my way of giving that love back. It’s a gift to anyone who knows the feeling of home tied to a place, whether that place is Cape Cod, the Islands, or somewhere entirely their own.
Shot intuitively and unposed, these photographs capture the Cape as it actually feels. Coastal Granddaughter is a personal love letter, to the place I grew up returning to and the people who made it home.
